Johnny's experience spans multiple levels of agricultural and conservation work.

Throughout his USDA and NRCS career, he worked directly with farmers, landowners, agricultural operators, contractors, government personnel, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

His responsibilities included work as a Soil Conservationist and service as a District Conservationist in Seneca County, where he provided leadership, technical assistance, conservation planning, and guidance involving agricultural and natural-resource projects.

His career ultimately exposed him to both the hands-on realities of field conservation and the broader administrative and planning responsibilities associated with agency operations.

This gives Johnny an unusual ability to look at a project from several perspectives:

That foundation helped develop a lifelong appreciation for agriculture, conservation, land stewardship, and the relationship between people and natural resources.

What began as family experience eventually grew into a professional career dedicated to helping farmers, landowners, and communities make better use of their agricultural and natural resources.

His experience has taken him from boots-on-the-ground field visits to formal meetings and boardroom discussions.
